Layout Assignment

Because I completely forgot, here is the panel we chose to work on for Mark's class.

Hey everyone! So those of us that got together today decided on a way to go with the layout in terms of inspiration and design. It's Cannabis Works by Tatsuyuki Tanaka and we have a few scans for everyone to look at. It's in a winzip format, so you'll need that program to unzip the images.

Please try to do some layout and location designs this break, if you can't, no problem. You'll be getting a memo from Kosta sometime in the next week in regard to what should be done.

Hey guys, here are the references as promised, as well as a link to Tony DiTerlizzi's website whose style I believe is somewhat similar to what we're trying to achieve.

Design Supervisor says.......

Okay first of all.....Happy Birthday to me.........

Anyways on to business....Here is a list of things to work on.......
For me, we need concept work, this is what I think we need to work on.....

• designs for Jack
• factory locations
• furnace designs
• smoke stack
• hammer
• leaves
• other workers
• the city as a whole/how it moves
• trees
• anything else you feel might be left out

For Marko, we need to do the four main story beats.....

• set up
• conflict
• climax
• conclusion

This all needs to be done for the meeting on Tuesday Oct 10 at 4pm. From there we will decide what needs to be given to Natalie on wednesday.
